A few days ago, a calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition opened at the Suzhou Bay Grand Theater in Wujiang District to welcome the opening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It features 90 works created by CPPCC members in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone. The exhibition will last until mid-October.
Spanning 2,300 square kilometers, the YRD integration demonstration zone sits in the middle of the delta and consists of Qingpu District of Shanghai, Wujiang District of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province and Jiashan County of Jiaxing in Zhejiang Province. The CPPCC committees in these three places have strived to facilitate the implementation of the national strategy of promoting the integrated development of the YRD region.
The exhibits on display fully show the achievements that Qingpu, Wujiang, and Jiashan have made in socioeconomic development since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
